Challenge
SWPR was chosen to execute a media relations campaign for the inaugural "Red Bull Wings Over Chicago," a three day paragliding, aerobatic and skydiving swoop competition.

Goals
To break through the summer event clutter and drive spectators to the extreme sport lakefront event.

Results

  • Secured print placements in the Chicago Tribune and Chicago Sun-Times and close to 60 minutes of television news coverage.
  • SWPR was awarded a 2003 Golden Trumpet Award from the Publicity Club of Chicago.
